Launch the media gallery 1 playerThe Nebraska State Treasurer and the Omaha Storm Chasers are sponsoring the annual “Why I Want to Go to College” writing sweepstakes for 7th and 8th grade students. Entries are due March 29, 2019. This is a great way for your students to focus on their goals, improve their writing skills, and learn how to save for their education.
Prizes will be awarded to 12 winners who will receive contributions to the Nebraska Educational Savings Trust (NEST) college savings accounts.
1st Place: $2,000 in a Nebraska College Savings Plans, 4 tickets to the Omaha Storm Chasers game at Werner Park with the Nebraska State Treasurer on Sunday, May 5, 2019
2nd Place: $1,000 in a Nebraska College Savings Plan, 4 tickets to the Omaha Storm Chasers game at Werner Park with the Nebraska State Treasurer on Sunday, May 5, 2019
3rd Place: $500 in a Nebraska College Savings Plan, 4 tickets to the Omaha Storm Chasers game at Werner Park with the Nebraska State Treasurer on Sunday, May 5, 2019
