Eco-Adventure Opportunity in Cozumel Mexico this Summer

Launch the media gallery 1 playerOmaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium is seeking adventurers for two international trips in 2018. Students are invited on an Eco-Adventure in Mexico, while educators are offered a WorldBiomes trip to Costa Rica. Registration for both trips is now open.
Students will dive into a life-changing adventure in Cozumel, Mexico where they will leave to scuba dive on the second largest coral reef in the world, view whale sharks in Holbox and visit the Mayan ruins of Chichen Itza. Prior to the trip, students will be given the opportunity to shadow animal care staff for hands-on learning about ocean and marine animals in preparation for the trip. The Zoo camp will take place on June 25-July 2, 2018. Trip dates are July 3-July 11, 2018. This opportunity is open to students in 9th grade or older. Application are available here and are due on December 31, 2017.
