Congratulations to Mesa Cox and Jacob Blackman for being honored as the February Students of the Month!
Mesa Cox, daughter of Matt and Camie Cox, is the Wauneta-Palisade Elementary Student of the Month for grades PK - 1 for February 2017.
She enters the classroom with a smile and a happy, positive attitude everyday. She uses good judgment when making decisions and gentle reminders of school rules when necessary. Mesa gets her work done promptly and helps out her classmates. She participates in class discussions and is always wiling to help students and teachers. Mesa is a great leader and example to her classmates.
Jacob Blackman, son of Jared and Missy Blackman, is the Wauneta-Palisade Elementary Student of the Month for grades 2-4 for February 2017.
Jacob is a model student. He comes to school each day with an eagerness to learn and great questions. He is kind and is always willing to help out others in any way. He even stays after school to help his teacher tidy up the classroom. Jacob is organized and tries his best. He loves Science and his love of learning inspires his teacher each and everyday.
