Wauneta-Palisade Basketball to Play in Cattletrail Tournament 2022

On Tuesday, 12/6, WP HS Girls play Decatur Community at McCook HS at 6:30 CT, boys play Hitchcock at 8 CT in the High School.  Games will be on 103.9. On Friday, 12/9, WP HS Girls play at 3:30 CT and boys at 5 CT, opponents TBD.  Student-athletes will be dismissed during lunch and the bus will leave at 12:30 MT. 2018 Cattle Trail Basketball Tournament

Wauneta-Palisade High School will participate in the annual Cattle Trail Basketball Tournament in McCook December 4, 7, and 8, 2018. WP girls play Decatur Co on December 4 at 3:30 CT at McCook Senior High. WP boys play Maycenter at 5:00 CT at McCook Community College. We will play two quarters of girls JV starting at 3:30 MT, but there will be no Boys JV. Varsity girls will begin at 4:30 MT followed by Boys Varsity. WP basketball players will eat lunch at 11:30 on Friday and the bus will leave at noon MT.

Basketball season is right around the corner, and the Broncos will square off at the annual Cattle Trail Tournament in McCook on December 5, 8 and 9, 2017.  The WP girls play Southwest in first round action on December 5 at 3:30CT at the McCook Senior High.  The Bronco boys play Decatur Community in the game right after the girls at 5:00CT at McCook Senior High.  Second round opponents and times is contingent on these games; brackets are available here ( girls ) and ( boys .) 

2017 RPAC Basketball All-Conference Teams Announced

The RPAC coaches recently released their choices for the 2016-2017 All-RPAC Basketball Teams . Wauneta-Palisade's Faith Simpson earned Second Team Honors in the girls division, and on the boys side, Greg Gaston was first team, Brody Nordhausen was second team, and Cash Yearous and Duncan Rector were Honorable Mention. Congrats, Broncos, on great basketball seasons.

The WP boys will be competing in post-season basketball play in the D2-8 Subdistrict Basketball Tournament. The Broncos are the #1 seed. After defeating Hitchcock County on Tuesday, the Broncos move on to play Wallace on Thursday. The game will be played at the MCC Event Center and will tip off at 6MT and will also  be aired on 103.9 the Hawk and  highplainsradio.net . We're going to WHITE OUT, so come dressed to cheer on your Broncos in white! The bus leaves at 4MT. Good luck, Broncos!

The 2016 RPAC Basketball Tournament will take place January 23-30th. WP girls will be playing in the consolation finals against Cambridge on Saturday at the MCC Events Center in McCook.
