2019 D-4 District Wrestling Tournament at Sutherland

Wauneta-Palisade High School wrestlers will compete at the D-4 District Wrestling Tournament: on February 8 and 9, 2019 at Sutherland High School (401 Walnut Street
Sutherland, NE 69165.)
TEAMS COMPETING: Banner County, Bayard, Brady, Crawford, Dundy County-Stratton, Garden County, Hay Springs, Hitchcock County, Hyannis, Leyton, Maxwell, Medicine Valley, Minatare, Morrill, Mullen, North Platte St. Patrick’s, Sandhills/Thedford, Sioux County, Southwest, Stapleton, Sutherland, Wauneta-Palisade.
ENTRANCE/PARKING: All spectators and participants must use the main west entrance at the front of the school. All school transportation must park in the lot to the north of the school.
ADMISSION: Friday: Adults $5.00, Students $4.00
Saturday (ALL DAY): Adults $8.00, Students $6.00
Saturday (FINALS ONLY): Adults $5.00, Students $4.00
Tournament Pass: Adults $13.00, Students $10.00
PASSES: Each school will get passes for the number of wrestlers entered plus three passes for coaches and managers. Also, each school will get four administrative passes for
administrators, athletic directors, and transportation drivers.
CONCESSIONS: Will be available throughout the day in the commons area.
NO FOOD OR COOLERS WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE GYM AREA. THE WRESTLING ROOM (WEIGH-IN AREA) AND COMMONS AREA WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR FOOD AND COOLERS. ALSO REMIND YOUR WRESTLERS TO PLEASE CLEAN UP AFTER THEMSELVES.

Friday, February 8 th
12:15 PM- Scales open. Please do not arrive before 12:00 PM CST
12:30 PM- Seeding meeting in the north gym conducted by Mike Kvanvig
1:00 PM- Weigh-ins in accordance with NSAA rules
3:00 PM- First round
4:30 PM- Championship quarterfinal and consolation first round
6:30 PM- Consolation second round
Saturday, February 9 th
8:00 AM- Scales open
8:30 AM- Weigh-ins in accordance with NSAA rules
10:00 AM- Championship semi-finals and consolation quarterfinals
12:30 PM- Break for lunch (30 minutes)
1:00 PM- Consolation semi-finals
2:45 PM- Parade of Champions
3:00 PM- Championship and Consolation Finals
