WP Junior High Track Meet 2019

Wauneta-Palisade Junior High Track and Field Invitational will be held on Monday, April 29, 2019 at Wauneta-Palisade High School Track in Wauneta.
PARTICIPATING SCHOOLS: Cheylin, Hitchcock County, Maywood/Hayes Center McCook St. Pat’s, Rawlins County, Wauneta-Palisade
SCRATCH/ADD MEETING: 8:45 MT/9:45 CT behind the crow’s nest
FIELD EVENTS: 4 attempts in shot, discus, long jump and triple jump, no finals
Pole Vault Weight Cards will be needed
4 kg shot will be used for boys and girls
Schools please make sure to have 1 knowledgeable adult run the following field events:
SHOT – Cheylin
DISCUS – Rawlins County
POLE VAULT – Hitchcock County
TRIPLE JUMP (East runway) – Maywood/Hayes Center
LONG JUMP (West runway) – Wauneta-Palisade
HIGH JUMP – St. Pats
Wauneta-Palisade HS Track Athletes will be at each field event to help work the event.
RUNNING EVENTS: All running events will be finals only
PARTICIPANTS: May enter 4 events. A and B divisions - 3 entries per division
Athletes may be entered as either “A” or “B” team members
AWARDS: 6 places per event; scoring 10-8-6-4-2-1
Team plaques will be awarded to the boys & girls champion
Results and ribbons available at the conclusion of the meet
TIMERS/PICKERS: We will have members of the Wauneta-Palisade varsity track team at the meet. We would gladly accept any additional assistance.
FACILITIES: All weather surface, 1/8” or smaller spikes required
Please do not tape on the runways or track surface. You may use chalk
