UPDATE: WP will not be participating in the D1-6 District Play Production Competition. 

WP will participate in the D1-6 District Play Production event at Creek Valley High School in Chappell, Nebraska on Wednesday November 28th. Doors will open at 6 am MT and registration starts at 8 am MT. Spectators can enter the building in the commons area (the main door at 3rd and Washington) or from the south west end of the building (which is closer to teh parking lot.) 

Each school's play can be 15-30 minutes long; Creek Valley has assigned a 45 minute block to each school for set up and strike down time. The order and start times are as follows: 

8:00 - 8:30 - Registration

8:30 - Wauneta-Palisade

9:15 - Leyton

10:00 - Paxton

10:45 - Potter-Dix

11:30 - Garden County

12:15 - 1:15 - Lunch

1:15 - Mullen

2:00 - Creek Valley

2:45 - Minatare

3:30 - Crawford

4:30 ( or as close as we can get) Awards in the gym

Only one door will be used to enter the gym. There will be monitors/ticket takers stationed at the door. There will be no entry during performances. Cost for admission is $5 for adults and $4 for students. 

Creek Valley Schools does not allow any weapons on premise. Any props that resemble real weapons must be approved by November 18 and must be checked in to the school office. No live animals will be allowed in the building. No videotaping/recording is allowed without written consent from the publisher or playwright and it must be turned in during registration. 

There will be a concession stand available throughout the day. Rolls ($1), breakfast burritos ($3), and juice (.50) will be available from 7 am-10 am. A potato bar ($5) is available for lunch.
